Responsibilities:

Manage the legal team to support the company’s legal activities & compliance, such as legal review, contract drafting, develop contract template
Establish standard for contract provisions, policies, and procedures and coordinate with internal and external teams on contracts and negotiations
Providing legal advice and guidance (ie. technical expertise) on all kind of legal matters
Ensuring compliance of laws and regulations for all company operations, to secure company and its possessions from any legal issues
Carry out legal research and provide legal memo based on the prevailing laws and regulations
Update legal databases to ensure that the database is accurate and updated
Provide consuel, assistance and support for ethical and legal compliance as well as support the enforcement across company
Provide insights prior to decision making for corporate actions
Provide legal assistance to People Operations team for employment matters, that may includes contract drafting for employment as well as legal and regulatory obligations
Coach, grow and develop the team to ensure professional and personal development

Requirements:

Proven work experience as an Legal Manager (preferably in start up)
Possess at least Bachelor’s Degree in Law from a reputable University
Solid knowledge of legal procedures
A minimum of years of working experience in corporate legal, preferably retail and distribution industry and/or e-commerce industry, with deep understanding particularly in the commercial agreement
Self driven, and able to lead and grow the team
Ability to be scrupulous in reviewing legal documents.
Able to thrive with minimum supervision
Critical thinking and high attention to detail is a must
Proficient in English and Bahasa Indonesia language skills, both written and oral
Experience in using Microsoft Office
Willing to work in BSD, Tangerang
