Glance – An InMobi Group Company:
Glance is an AI-first Screen Zero content discovery platform, and it's scaled massively in the last few months to one of the largest platforms in India. Glance is a lock-screen first mobile content platform set up within InMobi. The average mobile phone user unlocks her phone >150 times a day. Glance aims to be there, providing visually rich, easy to consume content to entertain and inform mobile users - one unlock at a time. Glance is live on more than 80 millions of mobile phones in India already, and we are only getting started on this journey! We are now into phase 2 of the Glance story - we are going global!
Roposo is part of the Glance family. It is a short video entertainment platform. All the videos created here are user generated (via upload or Roposo creation tools in camera) and there are many communities creating these videos on various themes we call channels. Around 4 million videos are created every month on Roposo and power Roposo channels, some of the channels are - HaHa TV (for comedy videos), News, Beats (for singing/ dance performances) along with a For You (personalized for a user) and Your Feed (for videos of people a user follows).

Team Overview
The Glance team works with large handset manufacturers (OEM) to create consumer products that are integrated into millions of handsets in India. The team aims to re-imagine content consumption on mobile, built on top of immersive product experiences and an AI led tech stack. The team also aims to create new monetization opportunities on top of immersive product experiences, thus creating multi-million dollar opportunity for OEMs and Glance.
Glance Indonesia
Glance Indonesia team is already functional with a superb editorial team which takes care of all day-to-day publishing operations. We have 20 million+ daily active users in Indonesia and are planning to scale up 3X in 1-2 years.
You will:
Monitor trends, news coverage, and social media conversation
Curate content based on strong editorial judgments.
Create accurate and high-quality copy across all our publishing platforms.
Work to enhance the quality of our content within tight timelines.
Simplify communication and rework copy (as needed) for varying demographics.
Edit copy for varying lengths and adhere to various platform-specific guidelines.
Ensure alignment of content to brand requirements and tonality.
Innovate and explore new ways of storytelling
You are:
Experienced in working in the sub-editor role for at least 2 years.
Experienced in working as a journalist or in the media industry for at least 2 years.
Amenable to work in varying shifts.
Outstanding in your ability to use language and grammar.
Outstanding knowledge of the news and current affairs in Indonesia.
Able to communicate in English at a conversational level
Able to work with different teams across regions.
Able to make sharp and strong editorial judgments.
Passionate about working in a face-paced environment.
Experienced in creating visual stories such as social video and infographics
