This function will be reporting to the Senior Director Customer Supply Network APAC who is based in Singapore and will be based at Firmenich manufacturing plant at Cileungsi.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Seek and obtain the necessary training and achieve full skills qualification within the roles mandate
  • Adherence to the Global Quality Control LEAN workflow process for processing of all Quality Control samples
  • Manage the receipt of samples as they are logged into Quality Control.
  • Prioritize / separate samples and organize their testing per established SOP's.
  • Retrieval and use of valid Quality Control retains as references.
  • Analyze raw material, in-process, and finished product samples according to established SOP's
  • Analyze raw material, in-process, and finished product samples via GC and GCMS according to established SOP's
  • Subcontracting of testing where not currently qualified and track results availability for timely Quality disposition
  • Participate and conduct daily Fragrance sensory evaluation sessions per established SOP's
  • Files all retains at conclusion of sample testing cycle
  • Provides Sensory Support in both preparation and evaluation of ingredients and finished products .
  • Follows all Lab and Site safety and GMP rules. Maintains work area in a neat and organized manner and completes all paperwork correctly.
  • Ensure instrument calibrations are within tolerances and recalibrate as needed
  • Manage stocks of consumable parts, reagent in QC Lab and ensuring absensce of shortage
We value:
  • Bachelor Degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Biology, Microbiology, Biochemistry and equivalent minimum 2 years of experience in food or flavor &fragrance industry
  • Having continous improvement & growth mindset
  • Organized, analytical, and meticulous
  • Knowledge GC and GCMS and RCA/Fish bond diagram will be preferable
