Summary:

The work schedule for this position is: Full Time (40 number of hours per week).


Start date: Candidate must be able to begin working within a reasonable period of time of receipt of agency authorization and/or clearances/certifications or their candidacy may end.

Duties

Provide on-site oversight at the Pondok Pinang and Hang Jebat warehouses and coordinate various property management functions, including yearly furniture pool budget forecast, identification of items requiring replacement, property records control, receiving, warehousing and furniture refinishing and re-upholstery. During VIP visits assist crews assigned to transport baggage, supply control rooms and otherwise provide logistic support for important visits. Monitor and enforce internal controls and management systems to ensure USG resources are safeguarded against waste, fraud, and mismanagement and ensure compliance with Federal law and Department of State reporting requirements. Incumbent reports directly to the GSO in charge of Property and Warehousing.


This position is based in Hang-Jebat Warehouse.


Qualifications and Evaluations

Requirements:

EXPERIENCE: Three years of experience in property/supply, facilities maintenance, real property management and/or management, including six months experience in a supervisory role.


(please note that one credited year of working experience is comparable to 40 hours/week x 52 weeks or 2080 hours)

Education Requirements:

Completion of two years of college/university/post-secondary study is required.


(please note that 1 year of post-secondary education is comparable to 30 semester hours or 45 quarter hours)

Evaluations:

LANGUAGE (this may be tested): Level IV (Fluency) Speaking/Reading/Writing English is required.


SKILLS AND ABILITIES:


  • Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of Embassy officers, other Embassy staff, and GSO/PAW LES.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite: Excel Spreadsheets – skills in sorting & filtering data and creating pivot tables; PowerPoint – be able to present public briefs /updates.

  • Ability to analyze data and make budget recommendations.

  • Must be able to obtain a Secret clearance.

For EFMs, benefits should be discussed with the Human Resources Office.


The pay plan is assigned at the time of the conditional offer letter by the HR Office.
