The position is responsible for the MSP process, including Testing driving stability and higher productivity thru implementing innovative solutions and Best Practice Implementations (BPI) across sites. We are looking for a competent candidate who is passionate about Advanced Control Solutions, mechanical design, and data analysis. We expect you to develop a complete solution that starts from requirements gathering, data analysis, and modeling platform, followed by system development and integration.
In your new role you will:
Develop, implement and improve smart control solutions for optimum process manufacturing in Final Test for Automotive product/package.
Provide technical oversight, guidance, and support for process control implementation.
Ability to conduct intensive data analysis and modeling to identify sources of variation in the process and translate them into control solutions.
Ability in classification, Characterization, and Categorization and define Data Collection Requirements on all-new package development. (Example - Analysis and setup Requirements and Setup Limits and OCAP and engage in periodic review with Technology and production teams).
The candidate must be able to:
Create and maintain AOI (Automated Optical Inspection) recipes for backend package inspection (Equipment like SRM, ASM, KLA-Tencor, Vitrox)
Deploy artificial-intelligence machine learning models on AOI tools to reduce over-rejection.
Characterize new failure modes and optimize recipes to ensure good detection.
Proliferate existing AOI recipes and perform tool-to-tool matching.
Analyze data to identify drift in machine performance leading to over-rejection and work on the root cause to prevent reoccurrence.
Optimize inspection flow to improve on machine throughout.
You are best equipped for this task if you have:
Bachelor/Master's degree in electrical/electronics/mechanical engineering.
At least 12 years of relevant experience in semiconductor manufacturing with functions related to the Final Test process.
Good understanding of test inline process with experience in yield improvement or responsible for overall electrical/mechanical yield management is desirable.
Experience in AOI recipe creation on various Scan and packing platforms (Example, Turret system, KLA-ICOS platform).
Knowledge in computer vision and/or AI & Machine Learning preferred.
Good supplier management and drive new platform introduction to meet the internal cost down activities.
Knowledge of FMEA, DOE, 6 Sigma trained, and QC investigation tools are required.
