About Our Client

Our client is one of the biggest player within its industry. Due to their recent expansion plan, they are looking to recruit for a dynamic Head of TPM to be part of their senior management team.

Job Description

  • Lead, teach and coach others during the TPM implementation.
  • Works closely with Plant Leadership and Operations / Maintenance teams to deploy TPM and fully implement KPIs
  • Follows the gear implementation plan laid out by the corporate and consulting groups and adheres to established dates / timeframes.
  • Leads the continued development and implementation of the Johnson Controls Manufacturing System, specifically the CI Culture, Value Stream Flow and Visual Factory Principles (standardized work, information flow, problem solving, strategy deployment and continuous improvement).
  • Lead, teach and coach associates at all levels lean thinking/principles, tools, systems and metrics.
  • Drive with ther Lean training and implementation of a Lean toolkit: value stream mapping, Kanban, problem solving, Kaizen, etc.
  • Manage a team of technical writers that will generate the documentation needed for TPM.
  • Presents status in a weekly / monthly basis to the local and regional leadership teams.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or technical degree
  • Minimal 10 years of experience in a manufacturing company with complicated business process
  • Minimal 5 years of experience working with and understanding TPM principles and methods
  • Must be a practitioner of Total Productive Maintenance, Lean and Continuous Improvement methodologies, to align reliability efforts with, and support existing programs to meet or exceed our Quality, Delivery and Cost performance expectations
  • Able to work across cultures and departments
  • Able to exercise leadership
  • The role requires heavy travelling between sites in Kalimantan area
  • Willing to be based in Kalimantan
