PHP Full-Stack Developer Internship (Remote) - Job Description
SwipeRx, formerly mClinica, is the largest network of pharmacies in Southeast Asia connecting over 235,000 pharmacy professionals from 45,000 pharmacies. SwipeRx pioneered the community-driven commerce model that unites the fragmented pharmacy channel on a single platform enabling them to access all the information, education and medicines they need. From online education, to centralized purchasing and logistics, to financing, SwipeRx caters to the unique and pressing needs of pharmacies, a critical public health channel.
To support our mission, SwipeRx is now looking for a PHP Full-Stack Developer Internship (Remote). We need a highly ambitious and dynamic individual who has the drive to excel. At SwipeRx, people who take initiative and ownership are rewarded significantly.
Responsibilities
  • Collaborate as a member of the engineering team to design and launch new features and products.
  • Create secure, scalable, and performant web applications and RESTful APIs,
  • Use best practices and patterns to deliver high quality secure, scalable, performant, and maintainable code.
  • Debugging technical issues and providing an implementable solution,
  • Actively participate in code reviews,
  • Write technical documentation for new features or enhancements,


Requirement
  • Strong English communication skills.
  • Bachelor Degree or minimum 3rd year student of Computer science major/related field.
  • 0-1 years experience in building web applications with LAMP stack in the Agile/Scrum environment.
  • Expertise in one of the frameworks: Laravel, Lumen, Symfony, Yii, Code Igniter, etc.
  • Expertise in HTML, CSS, and Javascript,
  • Expertise in using git,
  • Experience in MySQL database,
  • Experience with OOP concepts and design patterns,

Will be a plus if
  • Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g. Jenkins, Bamboo, VSTS, etc).
  • Experience with Apache, Nginx, Docker and Kubernetes,
  • Experience with Google Cloud Platform,
  • Experience with modern front-end development (e.g. React, Redux, CSS3, HTML5),
  • Experience with Redis,
  • Experience creating web applications or rest API using nodejs with Typescript,
