Supervisory Position: No Relocation Expenses Reimbursed: No Travel Required: Not RequiredUnder the direction of the Travel and VIP Visitor Unit Supervisor, the incumbent assists with the operation of the contracted travel agency its employees that serve all four Posts of the U.S. Bi-Mission to Indonesia and ASEAN. The incumbent ensures that all travel arrangements meet U.S. Government requirements and conform to relevant regulations of the serviced agencies such as the Fly America Act. Verifies the contractor’s bill of domestic and international travel services for the General Service Officer’s (GSO) approval for payment, ensuring that only authorized amounts are charged to the Government and that proper class of service, routings and baggage allowances are used. Provides the supervisor with administrative support with high ranked visitors, hotel arrangements / reservations and other administrative tasks as assigned. Provide travel policy support and guidance to U.S. Mission employees and travel arrangers. Other duties as assigned.
EXPERIENCE: Minimum three years of experience in the travel industry, hotel industry or in customer service oriented industry is required.
JOB KNOWLEDGE: A good knowledge of airlines’ procedures and rules, air fares, ticketing, and itineraries is required.
Must have minimum a completion of three years college of tourism and hotel management or social science (D3).
Evaluations:LANGUAGE: Level III speaking/reading/writing English and Level IV Bahasa Indonesia is required. These languages may be tested.
