About the Role
Roll up your sleeves and climb on board if you're ready to be our next Branch Manager for Solo. As our Branch Manager, you will play a pivotal role in curating and deploying strategies and doing analytics at the Branch level, and finding local insights. You will work closely with the Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Business Analyst teams and develop and maintain strong relationships with the government, merchants, associations, and various communities. On top of that, you will work collaboratively with all troops in the Branch and the Regions team to oversee overall operations and ensure strategic implementation, including product changes and ensuring that everything that transpires is aligned with Gojek's goals &values.
What You Will Do
Be fully accountable to build, maintain and continuously improve business operations of the city to ensure efficient operation on a day to day basis
Be accountable for topline (i.e. transaction, revenue) and bottom line metrics ( i.e. cost, profit) in Branch
Design and implement localized marketing campaign and activities for the city (Branch)
Work closely with leadership in Regional level to develop and execute market strategies
Take full ownership of the city’s budget and target
What You Will Need
At least 5 years of experience with extensive exposure to city/branch operations to BTL marketing & stakeholders management
At least 2 years of experience in Solo/Central Java, and have a strong network and knowledge about the respective city
Able to bridge, develop & maintain a good relationship with key partners (local/regional government stakeholder in regency/city), merchants, communities (i.e., driver communities)
Proficient in data-driven decision-making approach and data analysis
Fluency in Bahasa & English. The ability to speak the local language and knowledge about the local customs is preferable
Able to recruit top-talent teams, nurture and mentor team members
About the Team
Our Branch team, a subsidiary of the Operations & Sales Region Central Java, consists of 10 people based in Solo.
One of our primary goals is to strengthen our market share in the SEA market, combining strategy with local insights to propel our business onwards and upwards. We are in charge of maintaining a holistic view of Gojek within the Branch team, constantly striving better to understand the Region's issues from the ground up and provide tech-based solutions and actionable steps forward. We also collaborate with internal (Product Management and other cross-functional teams) and external (driver-partners, merchant-partners, and customers) stakeholders to keep a holistic view of Gojek. We strive to understand the Region's issues and work to solve them with on-point actions and deliverables. Lastly, we ensure our platform is at the top of consumers' minds while improving our partner's life (drivers and merchants) and their experiences using our services.
In the past, our team has worked on projects predominantly surrounding our driver-partners - their experiences using our services, their life cycle, their engagement with the company, and growing our driver-partner family, among other things. One of our favorite projects was collaborating with the Gojek foundation to hand out scholarships to some of our driver-partners. More than establishing Gojek as the most trusted partner in the Region (and beyond), we want to make sure our driver-partners genuinely enjoy being part of our family and work to ensure that they know how appreciated they are.
It's indeed a lot of work, but we believe we work for the greater good; hence we always feel every day is challenging but satisfying. As of now, working from home has been a strange time for a lot of us, so our team has been taking time on our calls to trade advice on the best ways to keep sane with this new work setup. We're made up of cycling enthusiasts, video game lovers, and talk show fanatics. Once COVID subsides, we're excited to get together for our weekly in-person hangouts once again.
Lead a small team in executing daily transactional recording, and ensure month, quarter and yearly transactions are processed in timely and accurate fashion.
