In Indonesia, the growing commercial team prepares proposals to offer Egis services to clients, answering their needs on studies, project management, design, audits, technical assistance and others on rail, transportation and mobility projects. The team is responsible for maintaining client relationships, managing business processes, acquire contracts, preparing business reviews and reporting business activities.

In this strategic role, the Commercial Assistant focus is to proactively assist the commercial team (business manager, senior commercial officers, business developers) by providing high-quality support in the daily strategic activities. Under the direct supervision of the Business Manager, he/she also coordinates with international teams of Egis from South-East Asia and Europe as needed for the commercial activities.
Responsibilities: A strategic role to address a market under expansion.
Assist on commercial relationships management and their compliance with commercial procedures: assist the preparation of commercial presentations, participate in client and partners meetings, prepare meeting reports, support registration to tenders, registration to procurement systems, preparation of administrative volumes of commercial proposals. This includes ensuring and documenting the application of internal commercial processes, assist business and ethics diligence as required by procedures.
Participate in the preparation of commercial proposals: collecting, analyzing and organizing bidding and RFP documents, summarize tender opportunities, prepare proposals checklists, prepare templates for technical and financial forms, translate documents from/to English as necessary, package proposals for submission, verify adequate formatting and referencing of documents. The Commercial Assistant also assist the bid managers and bid engineers to evaluate CVs and references, comply with client criteria and formats, outline proposals, simulate evaluations, participate and summarize aanwijzing, prepare clarifications to client.
Punctual support is provided on commercial and business reporting, contract management, quality management, business development, business reviews, financial and legal diligence and other necessary commercial activities. Other responsibilities can later be considered depending on performance and adaptability.

Education Level: Bachelor Degree in Business, Engineering or related fields obtained from a reputed university
Experience: At least 4 years of relevant industry experience. Experience in commercial/business activities in a consultant firm is required. Overseas experience and in the transportation domain is a strong advantage.
Skills: Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Strong communication skills (verbal, written) to build relationships. Business knowledge and understanding of consulting domain.
Language/s: Excellent oral and written communication skills in both Bahasa Indonesia and English. Proficiency in other languages (French, Chinese, Japanese) is an advantage.
Other Requirements: Necessary to be organized and methodical but staying open and positive. Ability to work within tight deadlines and manage priorities. Being client-oriented and taking initiatives, with a strong sense of accountability. Ability to travel punctually to domestic and South-East Asia destinations.
