Job Responsibilities and Duties:
To provide enterprise level technical support to our merchant customers via phone, web, email, chat or other support channels as required.
Take ownership of issues reported by merchants and see problems through to resolution
Research, diagnose troubleshoot and identify solutions to resolve customer issues
Follow standard procedures for proper escalation of unresolved issues to the appropriate internal teams
Provide prompt and accurate feedback to merchants
Ensure proper recording and closure of all issues
Prepare accurate and timely reports
Document knowledge in the form of knowledge based tech notes and articles
Assist on-boarding of new merchants by checking programming code for Integration, creation of Merchant ID (MID) – i.e. help our merchants integrate using RDP API
Work closely with support team to resolve merchant errors
Provide pre-sales support whenever required to merchant’s technical support team
Assist in improving efficiency of merchant support
Responsible for live/production server (web & payment gateway), database, system (payment gateway) and transaction status monitoring
Requirements:
Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent
Proven working experience in enterprise technical support, front-facing roles
Basic knowledge of Unix/Linux systems, MYSQL, utilities and scripting
Familiar with PHP (as our API is written in PHP) and Amazon Web Services
Additional programming language knowledge like JAVA, would be desirable
Excellent client-facing skills & communications skills so as to be able to explain technical issues in a simple and easily understandable way to external merchants and internal staff
Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills
