The Opportunity:
We are looking for a Global Communications Executive to join our ever-growing family. The Communications Executive’s role is to work alongside the Marketing Manager and the rest of the team in creating and implementing Communications strategies.
The applicant should bring a creative flair to the role, yet this should be grounded in an understanding of the subtleties of B2B Communications.
The role entails taking ownership of many responsibilities and projects, including social media, analytics, and content development.
Key Responsibilities:
Take accountability for all agreed corporate social media channels
Work with the Global Content Executive to devise and execute a content production strategy, conforming to the brand vision.
Publish and distribute content on brand websites and social platforms alongside other channels.
Implement best practice SEO principles
Monitor outreach and report on strategy effectiveness through Google Analytics and other tools.
Monitor competition/peer marketing for research and review purposes
Meet and exceed KPIs, keep up to date with Discova products and services.
Essential Qualifications and Experience:
You have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a related marketing role - previous experience of the travel industry would be desirable
A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related subject
Native-level fluency in both written and spoken English
Demonstrable experience with corporate social media account management
Understanding of Semrush & Google Marketing Suite (Analytics, Tag Manager, Data Studio, Search console)
Understanding of Content Management Systems (e.g., Wordpress) an advantage
Skills and Attributes:
Outstanding marketing skills with a strong customer care focus
Highly creative and an outside-of-the-box thinker, yet with excellent organizational skills
Excellent communicator across cultures and with different areas of the business
Able to work under pressure and juggle multiple tasks, flexibly adapting to sudden changes
Personally aligned with Discova’s company purpose and values
Proficient with Microsoft Office applications and Discova’s systems would be an advantage
