Manulife Indonesia is seeking a self-motivated Actuarial Analyst - IFRS17, who is obsessed with delivering value, is forward-thinking, and excited to see the successful implementation of the products they deliver. This position is accountable for support and ensure smooth process of IFRS17 implementation process for Indonesia Business Unit which including on preparing Quantitative Impact Study (QIS) for better understanding on the impact of IFRS17 implementation, conduct and preparing parallel run IFRS17 earnings on quarterly basis to have a better sense how Company earnings will looks like under IFRS17, how it will be differ with current Company earnings.

We are looking for someone with:

  • Minimum Bachelor Degree, actuarial background are preferable
  • In progress to be qualified as fellow of an actuarial organization (e.g. PAI, SOA, IAAust, IA)
  • Advance user of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access)
  • Time management skill
  • Demonstrate a good communication with other team

Nice to Haves:

  • Preferable some prior knowledge of actuarial software (AXIS)
  • Fluent in English
  • Have minimum 2 years experience in Actuarial


On the job you will:

  • Ensure smooth process of IFRS17 implementation process
  • Preparing and analyze the Quantitative Impact Study of IFRS17
  • Conduct, provide and analyze the trend of IFRS17 earnings during Quarterly parallel run
  • Reviewing and provide feedback support on Modelling enhancement related on IFRS17
  • Preparing, analyze and improving IFRS17 Contract Classifications
  • Review, analyze and provide support on other Request/Requirements/Projects related on IFRS17
  • Support reinsurance reporting process (month end and quarterly reporting)
  • Preparing, analyze and provide support on other Actuarial Projects such as dividend recommendation and PAR Adequacy Testing
