About the Role
As the Head of Driver Risk Strategy, you’ll play a key leadership role within the Driver Risk team based in Jakarta. With full accountability over the risk management for Gojek’s core products within the Driver partner ecosystem, you’ll focus your efforts on conducting risk assessments for existing and up-and-coming products, creating optimum solutions that work to prevent risk and fraud, building models that measure risk assessments, and laying out strategies on process efficiency for the wider team to follow. Working alongside some of the brightest minds in the industry across design, product, and engineering, the products, models, and strategies you’ll formulate will directly ensure the safety and wellbeing of our driver partners in our Gojek ecosystem.

About the Team
Our objective as Gojek’s Driver Risk Team is to ensure a safe and trusted platform that our driver partners can trust, rely on, and love to come back to. Our team consists of multinational and multi-background individuals, working together to anticipate and predict potential fraud and threats that impact our driver partners, design and build tools to fight against and mitigate these threats, and implement and enforce these systems at scale. Based in Jakarta, we partner closely with several cross-functional teams to ensure safe and secure transactions for our driver partners, our Gojek businesses, and our extended ecosystem.
We are constantly working on projects that continuously bolster our platform, maintain Gojek’s overall integrity, and improve the resilience of our ecosystem across all the countries and regions we operate in. Putting our mission into action, we've built a solid authentication system to ensure our driver partners are properly onboarded and registered, and their devices they use on the road are free from unauthorized apps. We've also rolled out a system that monitors our driver partners' behaviors on the road as well as protects them from various scams. Currently, we've been in the process of enhancing our driver partner vetting system to ensure utmost safety for our riders and driver partners alike.
While our team is based all over the region, we are a tight-knit group who are bonded by two things: good technology and good bread . For real - our weekly conversations range from the latest breakthroughs in risk management to the best sourdough bread recipes out there (WFH has indeed made us into make-believe bread connoisseurs).
