Summary:The work schedule for this position is:
Start date: Candidate must be able to begin working within a reasonable period of time (4 weeks) of receipt of agency authorization and/or clearances/certifications or their candidacy may end.
Incumbent supports the monitoring and evaluation needs of Embassy Jakarta's International Narcotics and Law Enforcement (INL) section composed of one Foreign Service Officer (FSO) section head, one Foreign Service National (FSN) program specialist, one administrative assistant FSN, and one FSN financial administrative. The employee is rated by the INL Director. Incumbent ensures the country program portfolio is on track to meet performance schedule and budget targets. The incumbent also develops contacts and greater subject matter expertise in one of the priority INL funding areas: law enforcement development, wildlife tracking, maritime security, or rule of law. Incumbent drafts cables and memos and organizes and attends representational events, sometimes speaking on behalf of INL and the Embassy.
EXPERIENCE: A minimum of three years of prior work experience in, at least, one of the following fields: monitoring and evaluation, grants management and/or administration, accounting, criminal law, law enforcement, emergency response, wildlife conservation, trafficking in persons, and maritime careers is required
A minimum of completion of secondary school is required.

LANGUAGE: Fluent Speaking/Reading/Writing of English is required (This may be tested).
SKILLS AND ABILITIES : A Secret clearance is required. Must have the ability to use standard business software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and strong communication skills, particularly written. Must also have the ability to identify projects that have vague parameters, experience cost overruns, do not meet stated performance objectives, or go over schedule.
