About the Role
Indonesia is one of the focus market for HARMAN. The Channel Marketing Specialist will play a crucial role in developing and executing the go-to-market strategy for HARMAN’s Audio & IoTs products.
Your Team
In this role, you will report directly to the Channel Marketing Manager.
What You Will Do
DEMAND CREATION
Help execute demand creation programs within the product line allocated (Car Audio Aftermarket; Audio for Gaming; IoTs).
Work with distributor and retailers to ensure they understand HARMAN’s strategy and align their promotions to take advantage of HARMAN's assets.
CHANNEL DEVELOPMENT
Plan channel strategy and develop eCommerce store with key dealers and partners who handles HARMAN's product together with distributor.
SELL THROUGH MANAGEMENT AND PROMOTION
Monitor sell through in distributor, eCommerce store and key retailers. Setup demonstration corner of HARMAN products at offline store and exposure inquiries with eCommerce partners.
Arrange promotion and marketing activities based on market demand and HARMAN's strategy.
Ensure that store level staff are fully aware and trained to sell HARMAN's products.
CONSUMER INSIGHT
Understand consumer behavior and shopping patterns (both online and offline) and propose marketing activities to drive demand.
DISTRIBUTOR MANAGEMENT
Support business planning and execute business with distributor to achieve results.
Support monthly, quarterly and yearly business planning, and monitor the business progress based on weekly and monthly sell-through data analysis.
Execute business by monitoring distributor's inventory, sellout and purchases.
Understand operational issues and help to resolve issues with distributor.
ECOMMERCE & RETAILER ENGAGEMENT
Ensure key eCommerce partners & retailers understand HARMAN's strategy and are aligned towards execution.
Support retailers in developing new consumer trends through ways to merchandise and sell in a manner that benefits HARMAN.
What You Need
Bachelor’s Degree in related field.
Minimum 5 years experience in Retail Sales & Marketing or Digital Marketing with eCommerce.
Proficiency in Microsoft applications, (Word/Excel/Powerpoint) is a must.
What is Nice to Have
Prior experience in Consumer Electronics or FMCG industries.
Market analysis skill
Excellent customer relations and customer focus mind
Good communication skills (both verbal and written) and positive thinking
Well-organized, independent & hardworking, good team player
