As a Category Manager, you will be in charge of the PnL and business manager of the category where you will implement and execute the ALL strategies for this category
Profit and loss of assigned category
Merchandising and promotions to achieve sales targets within category
Ensure competitive pricing, assortment, availability to ensure category KPI's
Ensure analysis of pricing, assortment, customer research, product research, product market to achieve growth within the category
Carry out analysis & survey & market research to better understand customer requirements in each category
Work closely internal departments including purchasing team, sourcing team, marketing, operations team, customer service team to drive growth for the category
Qualification Requirements:
Strong leadership skills and communication skills to be able to drive multiple functions within the organization
Strong analytical skills to be able to analyze pricing and data to drive key strategic decisions
Strategic, entrepreneurial and self motivated
at least 4 years experience, part of which with management consulting, business development, sales or account management OR previous experience in category management
Currently or previously in a leadership position
Growth mindset and capacity to grow and learn quickly
Identify, diagnose and resolve assembly process related problems .
