About the Role

As our Procurement Specialist in the General Sourcing Category, you’ll be an integral player in Jakarta's Procurement team. We oversee all Procurement things related to the General Sourcing Category (Non-Marketing and Non-IT category). Specifically, we do sourcing activities that relate to goods/ services in several categories with the nature of procuring Premises related, HR Services related, Office Product & Services related, Operation related, Operations related, and Outsource Services related and working with cross-business units who require such product/ services nature. You’ll be assisting in leading Procurement buyers within the General Sourcing team and also as a single contributor in handling the assigned sourcing activities. What You Will Do

Support Country Procurement Head through value creation of cost reduction and cost avoidance initiatives project (Procurement Initiatives Pipeline)
Execute Procurement Initiative Pipeline pertaining to managed Spend Category, align with Procurement Procedure
Lead all vendor Selection Processes (Tactical & Strategic bidding), to support business target
Maintain relationships with country vendors, to support Gojek’s positioning in the market
Support country procurement to build country’s price catalog (contracted) and strategized country spend and avoid repetitive vendor selection process
Achieve provided annual saving target, both Cost Avoidance, and Cost Reduction
Support Global Procurement initiative relevant to country spend led by Global Category Manager
Become the ambassador of the Procurement value creation process and build relationships with Businesses to ensure “Early Procurement Involvement”

What You Will Need

At least 5 years relevant work experience with hands-on experience in procurement
Experience in basic knowledge of accounting, finance, and legal terms
Experience in managing multiple stakeholders across various levels of seniority
Strong individual with broad networks in Procurement and experience dealing with external stakeholders
Familiar with the implementation, maintenance, and improvement of procurement tools is a plus
Experience in General Procurement Sourcing, like Non-IT & Non-Marketing. Background in a technology company that has a presence in multiple countries is a plus point.

About the Team Our General Sourcing team is a family of central Gojek Procurement teams based in Jakarta. Being in an advanced Procurement team in Gojek Group, we have been moving far beyond the traditional belief that procurement’s primary role is to obtain goods and services in response to internal needs. In Gojek, the procurement team is empowered to manage their sourcing activities by following this principle: 1. Support operational requirements: to understand business requirements to buy products and/ or services at the right place, from the right source at the right specification that meets users needs, in the right quantity to be delivered at the right time, 2. Manage the Procurement Process and the Supply Base Efficiently and effectively by identifying opportunities where the procurement team can add value: In evaluation and vendor selection to optimize the contractual agreements, acting as the primary contact with the supplier and managing the supply base, manage internal operations by following the Procurement procedures to define the sourcing strategy, achieve objectives of collaboration and partnering, ownership and accountability for sourcing processes. 3. Develop strong relationships with other functional groups where the Procurement team will interact with internal customers to achieve a greater understanding of requirements and integration among business users 4. Support organizational Goals and Objectives by developing integrated procurement strategies that support organizational strategies, obtain the best deal for the organization and maximize generating commercial savings.
