We are a highly autonomous yet highly collaborative team that focuses on improving our Driver’s Experience on the Driver App. Our team has a good combination of both experienced, young and energetic engineers. We always work hard to develop new features that millions of users are going to use daily and to improve app performance and stability to give users the best experience. In order to achieve that, we strive to apply the best engineering practices to our work and keep on improving ourselves. The quality assurance and automation teams are responsible for tracking the missing, hunting down the broken, and resolving all issues to help give the best experience for all who use our Driver app.
Get to Know the Role
Work closely with the product and design team to understand requirements and translate them to test specs in Gherkin format to ensure all edge cases are covered.
Perform quality checks, identify bugs in ongoing features and collaborate with other developers to resolve those issues.
Work alongside with other developers to help reproduce production issues and assist during the fix.
Develop, execute and maintain mobile end-to-end and/or backend service tests to ensure a high quality product.
Have a solid in-depth knowledge of Quality Assurance.
The Must-Haves:
Preferably a degree in computer science, software engineering, information technology or related fields
2+ years of experience as QA Engineer/Tester/ Automation Engineer or Software Development Engineer in Test
Excellent communication, collaboration and analytical skills
Familiar with the testing process of iOS, Android apps and Backend API’s to ensure that product meets requirements
The Good-to-Haves:
Have coding experience on any object-oriented programming languages (Java, Kotlin, Swift) or any script languages (Python, Shell).
Have experience in test automation framework: Appium.
