About the Role

As our Product Manager for the GoFin team, you will play an important role in growing the SME Lending business within Gojek’s Financial Services stream. You’ll establish and roll out the product roadmap, extend the product reach to a wider and more diversified merchant base within the Gojek ecosystem, and create new financial product innovations for this merchant base by simplifying the credit initiation, disbursement, and repayment with automated tools and processes. You’ll also focus your efforts on enhancing the platform’s user experience through participating in user research initiatives and collaborating with the business stakeholders to build a user-centered financial product that maximizes financial sustainability. Your efforts will, most importantly, will bring wider financial inclusion to more Indonesians and the greater Southeast Asian community in the long run.

What You Will Do

• Build the product vision, set success metrics, and execute the prioritized roadmap for the SME Lending business of Gojek’s financial services stream
• Translate product vision and strategy into clear and detailed requirements that are easily understood by technical and non-technical audiences
• Work with stakeholders (internal/external) to determine product requirements, set and track implementation timelines, and manage expectations on both ends
• Define and maintain clear and well-scoped requirements documentations that are easily understood by technical and non-technical audiences
• Lead the research and analysis of the competitive landscape, customers, product metrics, and latest internet trends to identify and fill product gaps and generate new ideas that grow market share, improve user experience and drive growth and conversion
• Participate in user research initiatives with the Design and User Research teams to better understand customer concerns and provide effective solutions
• Learn everything you can about our ecosystem through data and use it to drive your product decisions
• Act as a product evangelist to build awareness and understanding

What You Will Need

• A Bachelor’s/ Master’s degree in Engineering or Management, or equivalent experience At least 4 years of experience working as a product manager
• Experience working with internal cross-functional teams and external stakeholders
• Experience working on financial products is a plus
• Strong problem-solving skills and a data-oriented mindset in order to understand various happenings and define & measure success on every project
• Ability to work with agile product development teams; genuinely excited about identifying new ways to boost team effectiveness and synergy

SME Lending is part of GoFinance (aka GoFin), Gojek’s financial services arm. Our team works to provide responsible and sustainable financial services to Gojek's merchant-partners.
