Job Description

Responsible for development of new process and ensure design to cost and design to manufacturing at molding process, Support new package development, ramp up platform extensions, and innovations, conduct process knowledge transfer to operation team
In your new role you will:
  • Development of new process and ensure design to cost and design to manufacturing at molding process
  • To challenge the current process, looking for improvements, efficiencies & value engineering
  • Establish and set up new assembly process capabilities including hands-on equipment setup.
  • Monitor performance, quality, and reliability of assembly processes.
  • Identify problems or deviations and recommend and implement corrective actions.
  • Support new package development, ramp up, platform extensions, and innovations
  • Introduce, support, and buy off of new process/equipment/toolings and road-mapping activities
  • Derive and define new process design guidelines for new package technologies.
  • Perform data gathering according to requirements and record it into the system.
  • Support end-to-end needs on tooling and machine ramp-up requirements.
  • Conduct process knowledge transfer to operation team

You are best equipped for this task if you have:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Sciences, Electronic/Electrical Engineering
  • 5 years minimum experience in the molding process.
  • Independent with good communication and coordination skills.
  • Demonstrates an ability to lead a team for problem-solving.
  • Good analytical thinking and high initiative to challenge him/herself to move to the next level of competency.
  • Knowledgeable in IC Packaging Assembly Process Flow.
  • Experience in analytical tools (i.e. JMP, 8D, FMEA, SPC, DMAIC approach to problem-solving) and design of experiments.
  • Tooling Design and Simulation knowledge will be an added advantage
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
