BASIC FUNCTION

Lead the HR function responsible for the manufacturing entity based in Cikarang, Indonesia. Is responsible for directing the administration, planning and coordination of Employment, Communications, and Training, Employee Benefits, Wage and Salary and Organizational Development. In charge of managing, maintaining, and enhancing HR department by planning, implementing, and evaluating employee relations and human resources policies, programs, and practices, while also managing the greenfield project from HR perspective, and ensuring compliance with employment and labor laws.



SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Provides guidance to management on Human Resources issues. Partners with management team on multiple functions within Human Resources.
  • Supervise the recruitment of all the employees on the basis of current and future employment needs and coordinate with hiring objectives.Keep abreast of changing labor markets to most effectively utilize the labor force and available candidates for employment.Within the guidelines of corporate recruitment policy, determine need for advertising, recruitment trips and other strategic applicable to the local labor market.
  • Promotes excellent employee relations through accurate interpretation and administration of HR policies and programs.
  • Assists in the implementation of HR plans and programs related to organizational design, development and change.
  • Implements structures and strategies to improve individual and organizational performance and to enable the organization to accomplish its goals.
  • Manages organizational development, organizational design, and performance management interventions.
  • Assesses critical business issues and designs plans to enhance company's performance.
  • Provides consultation to management and teams to increase organization productivity and customer satisfaction.
  • Support department heads with all HR related matters and issues, by providing input, guidance or coaching as necessary, to establish a real business partnership and act proactively as a value-added contributor.
  • Manage any project or assignment as may be required.
  • Manage labor union strategically as needed.
  • Perform other duties assigned by Line Managers, Corporate Administration, or those required for the benefit of the Human Resources Department and Corporate.

  • Reports to HR Director, K&B Asia Pacific.

    • Continuous contact with all levels of management and associates.

  • External Business Relationships:
    • Area high schools, technical schools and colleges
    • Governmental Employment Offices
    • Businesses, industries and associations.
    • Newspapers, radios and TV stations.
    • Vendors (Department capital expenditures)

Skills/Requirements

  • University degree. MBA preferred.
  • 10 years’ experience in a HR leadership role in a multinational environment with manufacturing presence in Indonesia
  • Sound knowledge of Indonesia labor law and employment practices
  • Sound experience in compensation and benefit schemes as well as in insurance matters
  • Expertise in HR management processes and systems
  • Excellent stakeholder and people management skills
  • Self-starter, flexible with strong drive for results
  • Excellent communication and fluent in English and Bahasa Indonesia
  • Good computer skills
  • Mature personality
