Job Description

Minimun educational qualification Bachelor Degree in electrical / automation / instrument engineering with Minimum 5 years of experience
Minimum required skill, experience, training
  • Good technical knowledge of AC-DC inverters, UPS System, IGBT and IGCT controls, thyristor controls, electronic drives controls, maintenance repairing and testing of drives, controls, cards, PLCs, networking and communication
  • Proven experience in maintenance and troubleshooting of siemens make AC drivess – converters, inverters and PLCs (preferably S7-400)
  • Proven experience in drives-related automation, instrument and cards repair, parameterization, optimization of drives parameters, analysis of failure / brekdown etc.
  • Ability to direct, lead and guide and work with a team of automation specialists, supervisors, drive specialistand technicians
  • Good knowledge of software and license management, spares procurement and management, proces requirements
  • Good knowledge of industrial ad electrical safety, ISO, QMS and TPM and maintenance practices
  • Dynamic personality with integrity, positive attitude, practical and proactive approach and good managerial experience, good analysing and communication skills, ability to lead and guide and create knowledge based organization, good exposure to lates global technical and managerial practices, lateral and vertical coordination abilities
  • Computer literate, working knowledge of MS office ventures – MS word, exceel, power point, etc. is a must. Knowledge of ERP, EMC, CMMS, PLC, Automation and SCADA. Software and programming skills desirable
  • Ability to work under pressure and constraints

Core responsibilities; (specific responsibilities are define in the applicable procedures and work instructions)
  • Directs, coordinates, organizes and supervises maintenance activities of electrical drives and converter and inverter in JESCO
  • Integrate all drives maintenance activities towards maximizing equipment availablity for production training for self and subordinates on siemens make drives
  • Minimize problems on electric drives, troubleshoot problem on electrical drives, maintain adequate apares of electric drives
  • Ensure compliance to statutory and environmental requirements, safety and housekeeping, training of self ad subordinates
  • Implement activities and ensure compliance to ISO, QMS, and TPM requirements
  • Takes all necessary steps in drives area to achive good results and as directed by management from time to time
