Responsibilities:

  • Understand product goals and feature requests and translate them into working software
  • Support team members through code review and architecture decisions
  • Write tests that validate the stability and correctness of implementations
  • Handle refactorings with both bravery and care

Skills & Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of frontend development experience using modern frontend frameworks such as React or Vue
  • Deep understanding of CSS and an ability to translate designs into clean code
  • Strong testing methodology with Jest or similar
  • Strong understanding of functional programming and/or OOP
  • A knack for writing clean, readable JavaScript code
  • Willingness to learn and experiment with new technology (e.g. GraphQL, TypeScript, etc.)
  • Efficient time management skill

Nice to have:

  • Ruby on Rails and/or Node.js experience
  • Experience working in a Scrum/Agile development team
  • Development experience with TypeScript
  • DevOps experience managing cloud infrastructure and/or IoT device
