Roles and Responsibilities
Drive a culture of rigor and daily problem-solving around planning, scheduling processes, and execution across the supply chain network to achieve the target for parts On-Time Delivery,
Execute the master production plan, prepare & update production schedules and material needs,
Drive improvements in production planning and execution of the factory which adheres to lean manufacturing and supply chain principles to improve the status quo,
Principal and develop shop floor technicians as well as monitoring their performance on aspects such as attendance, self-audits, disciplinary, efficiency, etc.,
Preside cross-functional teams in executing the master production schedule in a way that meets customer needs, business goals, and maximizes supply chain velocity,
Preside scheduling and coordination with the global optimization team to ensure customer demands are met on time,
Develop and drive schedules, recovery plans, and prioritizations across your focus area to ensure customer fulfilment while maximizing business impact,
Improve and implement a common set of KPIs, tools and practices to drive accountability across all functions of the organization,
Collaborates with other functional teams to ensure requirements are met (including quality, cost, scope & cycle),
Work closely with the Cell Leader to provide periodic fulfilment estimates to the business,
Work collaboratively with material planner and warehouse team to ensure the availability of necessary materials to meet the schedule,
Support initiatives to achieve goals in asset utilization and process improvement, and Engaging in Lean Initiatives and AWO (Action Work Out).
