Responsibilities
Review and perform financial evaluation on incentive business cases proposed by distribution channel (i.e. Agency, Partnership Distribution, Corporate Business, and other new channels).
Perform post implementation review on approved incentive business cases.
Tracking of incentive spent vs agreed number.
Working independently with distribution channel to evaluate effectiveness of compensation to sellers and recommend changes to management together with distribution channels.
Financial evaluation of distribution related projects or other special projects, e.g. partnership deals, PRUVenture, or new actuarial methodology implementation.
Co-ordination of these projects with other stakeholders within PLAI.
Co-ordination of approval process with PCA and implementation within Finance.
Providing thorough review of Product Pricing & campaign items, including appropriateness of assumption setting and modelling approaches.
Requirements
5-8 years of relevant life insurance experience
Have experience in managing team and non-actuarial stakeholders management
Good actuarial exam progress (min. Associate of recognized actuarial association); Qualified Actuaries (FSAI, FSA, FIA, or equivalent) are preferred
Good analytical and technical skills, i.e. Ms. Office, VBA, actuarial software (Prophet or Axis) and SQL..
