Position Summary
I4DI is seeking a District Coordinator for the proposed USAID/Mars. Inc-funded Initiative for The Global Development Alliance (GDA) aimed at scaling the evidence-based agroforestry practices built on a longer-term approach that utilizes farm-level technologies to advance climate-resilient practices, increase smallholder farmer income, and ensure high-quality cocoa supply in South/Southeast Sulawesi.
Responsibilities
Provide support in monitoring and evaluation of project activities, with a particular focus on use of data for improved program outcomes
Close coordination of activities in the field with partners.
Support and coordinate district activities including meetings, workshops, launch/s etc. and provide support in managing the relevant budgets.
Provide necessary technical and organizational support to conduct workshops/ seminars/ meetings/advocacy events.
Provide regular process documentation of all activities, meetings, and relevant events.
Maintain relationships with farmer groups, exporters, and client representatives.
Facilitate and manage the project review meetings and monitoring visits as scheduled in the workplan.
Assist in conducting baseline and end line surveys of the project.
Qualifications
Successful candidates should have:
An academic degree in agriculture, community development or other related fields.
At least 3 years of experience in project management
A passionate and ambitious worker.
Excellent organizational skills and relationship management
Extensive knowledge of Excel, experience with online tools (surveys, GIS) is a plus.
Innovative and driven to continuously improve projects and procedures.
Fluent in English and local language is a plus.
