As Iyuno-SDI is currently developing an AI engine called MAS, we are offering an opportunity to join us as our English to Vietnamese NMT Post Editor.
What is MAS?
MAS stands for “Machine Assisted Subtitling”. In this workflow, the initial translation will be done by an engine, then will be edited by humans to ensure the high quality of the final subtitles.
Why are we utilizing MAS?
Iyuno-SDI provides high-quality subtitles to our clients, however, “quality” to us does not mean only the linguistic aspect of subtitles, “time” is an important factor included in the word “quality” as well. AI engine will help you with the initial translation so you can reduce your time on translation. According to our field tests on the engine, AI helps reduce at least 20-30% from the time spent on translation from scratch. That means we could have our subtitles delivered to viewers 20-30% faster than we used to.
Your role in MAS will be an “NMT Post-Editor”.
NMT translation will be provided to you when you start a project and you will edit the machine translation to make it natural and fit the context.
Please note that although AI engine gives us an initial translation, the subtitles will never be considered as “broadcast-ready subtitles” without your skill and creativity!
