Job Description

MISSION STATEMENTS:
Manage the resources, the planning, ensure the coordination and the control of a production department in a site or a production unit.
Ensures that goods and products are processed efficiently, with respect to quality, quantity, planning, cost

HSE standard and regulations.
Contributes in the definition and execution of the site strategy and is in charge of implementing Operational
Excellent Standard (e.g. lean and performance program).
Plays a critical role in fostering motivation and excellent in his team.
Manage and provides overall direction (technical and administrative) to all production operation and personnel and to manage them with strict adherence to GMP rules and Sanofi Global Quality Standard.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Plan, organize, and direct manufacturing and maintenance operations which ensure the most effective return to site productivity.
  • Initiative plans and processes which minimize manufacturing cost through effective utilization of manpower, equipment, facilities, material and capital.
  • Implement production strategies and action plan to ensure quality of product will meet customer satisfaction.
  • Manage spending against budget, control OPEX/CAPEX align with production volume.
  • Coordinate. Establish and implement standard operating procedure for all production operation.
  • Foster team activity to achieve site KPI and cost effectiveness through continuous improvement program (i.e. Productivity, OEE, PCT, Indirect expenses).
  • Collect and evaluate the actual data for materials used and working hours spent for every batch/product and initiating to issue the change control proposal to be able changing the master recipes in SAP before updating the cost accounting calculation every year.
  • Assure the maintenance of production equipment and premises.
  • Ensure that appropriate calibration of control equipment is performed and recorded, and the report made available.
  • Organize and coordinate for the production of trial and scale up batches of the transferred products.
  • Involve in Annual Product Review process and draft an action plan and recommendation jointly with QA unit.
  • Foster Production process improvement, such as but not limited to formula, product specification, punches, tablet marking, equipment parameters.
  • Review all production batch record and ensures that the production activities are executed in accordance with SOP.
  • Asses and recommend additional new technology/tools to support production activities if needed.
  • Contribute to mid and long‐term planning of processing and packaging resources (machine, labor) with objectives to optimize machine occupancy and reduce overtime (in link with Plan Logistic and Controlling).
  • Assigned as “Apoteker Penanggung Jawab Produksi” (Responsible Pharmacist for Production) for requested/official items to respective institution (i.e. Ministry of Health of Indonesia, BPOM).
  • Contribute to GMP compliance program and validation activities (i.e. managing change control, draft validation plant, etc.).
  • Conduct and monitor the implementation of HSE procedures in Production area to reach HSE objective.
  • Lead production Department and involve in people development activities (i.e. recruitment, training, appraisal, promotion), change management (i.e. continuous improvement, corporate culture), HSE implementation and maintain good labor relation within Production Department.
  • Implement Health and Safety practice in the work place as per applied HSE Regulation and involve in Site
  • HSE Committee (P2K3).

REQUIREMENTS:

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree in Pharmacy (graduated as Pharmacist is more advantageous).
  • Managerial position with min. 5 years practical experience in Production or Quality area of pharmaceutical manufacturing
  • Broad knowledge of GMP regulation and practices, analytical methodology, and product transfer.
  • Excellent knowledge of HSE practices
  • Willing to be placed at our manufacturing site located in East Jakarta
