Location Jakarta Work Type Permanent Application Posted March 24, 2022 Fasten your helmet and climb on board if you’re ready to be our Sales Manager for Online Commerce. A high-performing Sales Manager who will be responsible for supervising and organizing our sales acquisition team. You will be in charge of managing the sales team by developing business plans, meeting planned goals. You will also be tasked with overseeing the activities and performance of your sales team by tracking sales goals, setting individual sales targets, and facilitating the ongoing training of your sales team. You will better understand our merchant partners' concerns and experiences on the field to resolve their pain points, execute sales strategies that are catered to their feedback and automate their operations.

What You Will Do

  • Achieve company goal and target by successfully managing the sales team
  • Setting individual sales targets with the sales team.
  • Tracking sales goals and reporting results as necessary and overseeing the activities and performance of the sales team.
  • Developing your sales team through training, motivation, counseling, and product knowledge education.
  • Able to identify, prioritize, acquire merchants according to the company goal and target.
  • Meet with potential merchants to better understand their business operations, concerns, and needs, and then present / conduct a live demo of GoStore/Selly features

What You Will Need

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Economics, Communications, or a related field.
  • At least 2-3 years working as a merchant acquisition with a proven track record of success in the sales cycle from planning to closing.
  • Experience in sales management, organizational skills and leadership ability will be point plus.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills in order to achieve the merchant acquisition targets, and to collaborate with partners and colleagues of all levels.
  • A self-motivated attitude as you’ll need to independently conduct canvassing initiatives around your region.
  • An adaptable personality with the ability to thrive within a fast-paced environment and balance a heavy workload.
  • Prior experience working at a startup or tech company is a plus
