About the Role

As our Head of Risk Strategy - GoFood you will manage a team of 5 people and be responsible for the overall Risk Management program for the GoFood business and will report directly to the Head of Risk Strategy. Along with owning Key Results for the GoFood portfolio and building a robust risk management framework for fraud detection and prevention, you will also act as a thought leader for both organizations - Risk Management & GoFood. This role will often require strict prioritization & managing expectations of various stakeholders, including C-level executives. Join us in a race to identify fraud patterns and trends, and provide a safe platform that our customers count on and love to come back to.

What You Will Do

  • Play the role of a risk leader within the GoFood business and a business leader within the risk management group to influence & drive the right arrangements
  • Manage day-to-day & long term initiatives of the direct reports, and not only be a role model to help them produce high quality of work but also coach them on their personal development
  • Influence roadmaps of partner teams, including the wider Risk organization, Data Science, Engineering, Product Management, GoFood business, Operations and Finance
  • Communicate with leadership and key stakeholders on a regular basis on status, health, and opportunities to combat fraudulent activities
  • Identify and predict blockers, conflicts, and risks to projects across multiple teams and seek solutions to drive timely execution
  • Identify vulnerabilities in products, systems, policies, and processes, and lead mitigation measures

What You Will Need

  • At least 8 years of experience in analytical, problem-solving roles in a fast-paced environment (prior experience in fraud/risk domain is preferred)
  • Excellent organizational agility at prioritizing tasks, aligning a large group of stakeholders, and getting things done
  • Ability to take quick arrangements on a day-to-day basis, always backed by strong data points
  • Strong in people management, should have at least 3 years of experience in managing & mentoring direct reports
  • Solid analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy and present them clearly and coherently to various stakeholders
  • Adept at wrangling both structured & unstructured data and using visualization tools
  • Experience in building ML models and being familiar with classification algorithms, text mining, and unsupervised learning algorithms is a plus
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills focused on improving collaboration, knowledge, and information exchange across various stakeholders

GoFood has more than 500k merchants and more than 20 million dishes listed on its platform. GoFood is also a marketplace for restaurants to list their food items and increase their sales. GoFood also has its own fleet of drivers with an app where they can accept food orders and earn their daily income out of food delivery.
