The opportunity
FleishmanHillard’s Jakarta office has an immediate opportunity for an Account Director to join our growing corporate/public affairs team. In this dynamic role, you will have the opportunity to build and maintain relationships with top Indonesia clients in the corporate/PA sector, work closely with the business media, and put your solid research, writing, project and client management skills to use. As an experienced industry professional, you will have advance brand communications objectives that embrace the client’s strategy and positioning and be an integral part of one of the most successful teams in the office.
Responsibilities:
What you’ll do
Contribute to the growth development of a portfolio of public affairs and corporate clients;
Develop and implement integrated communications programs with a 360-degree approach (across earned, paid and owned channels) to raise the profiles of existing corporate clients
Conceptualize original and compelling media angles to feature client organizations and secure media opportunities with top-tier international and local business media to drive outstanding media outcomes;
Develop and edit high-quality communications materials, including opinion editorials, industry commentaries, social media content, speeches and company presentations;
Provide strategic counsel to clients on matters in relation to reputation management, industry positioning, corporate narrative and crisis communications;
Project Management; manage projects by setting priorities, maintaining deadlines, managing team workflow, deliverables and client expectations
Build relationships with regional and local business media;
Coordinate regional projects with other offices in Asia;
Ensure that clients’ strategic objectives are met;
Work effectively in a team and mentor juniors;
Learn and support on budget planning.

Qualifications:
What you’ll need
At least eight (8) years of experience in an agency or corporate communications department; experience in managing the communication programs of organizations, including corporate profiling, corporate reputation management, public affairs and/or crisis experience;
Excellent client servicing skills, strong organizational skills, and creativity in problem solving;
Superb research and writing skills; experience drafting client and press materials;
Seasoned media relations skills; experience working with regional and national financial media;
Ability to communicate clearly and focus on results; positive and professional disposition in every situation;
A point of view, and a proven ability to propose solutions and present ideas in a persuasive and compelling manner.
