Must have good understanding basic administration of windows, linux, Solaris and another OS Company use
Installing, Configuring, Upgrade and Patch MS SQl Server Software
Creating Database, Managing Database and Files, Managing Database Storage Structures
Managing Schema Objects, Data and Concurrency, Database Security, Backup and Recovery
Moving Data, Troubleshooting, Optimizing MS SQL Server, and Administer User Security
Have knowledge & experience on SQL Tuning
Have Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MSCA) for SQl Server

Handle all database maintenance problem in day to day operation
Database Monitoring and Performance Tuning
Preventive Maintenance - treatment was performed before a problem occurs on a specific schedule
Corrective Maintenance - a maintenance task performed to identify, isolate, and rectify a fault so that the failed equipment,machine, or system can be restored to an operational condition within the tolerances
Reporting – the results and recommendations of the preventive maintenance
