Our Team
The Engineering team solves problems and develops impactful features to support Finantier’s vision of being the leading Open Finance platform across Southeast Asia. We are polyglots with commitment to excellence! We use Golang, Python, and Java in a microservices architecture, we also rely on serverless processes in the cloud. ReactJS is our library for the frontend.
We are seeking an enthusiastic, driven, and agile professional to join the Engineering team as a Senior Quality Engineer in Indonesia. As part of the Engineering team, this role will be responsible to design effective ways to identify weak points of current features, and utilize test automation to safeguard the quality of our releases. The role requires solid problem solving skills, as well as ability to collaborate with fellow engineering talents and Product team members.
The Responsibilities
Improve the test automation experience at Finantier by enhancing tools/scripts, test coverage, and/or code structure, and Automate repeated manual tasks to improve self/stream’s productivity
Debug and analyze the bugs in the application, aiding developers in arriving at the root cause and training junior QAs to follow suit
Manage timely testing and delivery of your own tasks (manual testing)
Participate in product discussions, and refine the acceptance criteria
Take responsibility for the entire life cycle of your stories: development, test, production, and subsequent fixes and improvements
Write concise, comprehensive, detailed test plans, and review the test cases/ test plans written by junior engineers and peers
Work closely with the Product team (i.e. PMs, Designers, Developers, and QA) right from the inception of features
Understand business and product requirements as related to payments and the existing service architecture; gain a deeper understanding of the domain
Maintain internal and public documentation about our products and services.
Be a role model in the team and encourage the growth of junior team members.

The Requirements
Working experience in a similar position for 4+ years.
Deep knowledge in Manual, Automation test methodologies and principles
Understand the best practices and tools in the QA Engineering process.
Experience in working with Web and API in both manual and automation
Highly experienced with testing tools such as Jira, Confluence, TestRail, Git, Postman, Appium, Selenium, RestAssured, TestNG, Katalon Studio, TestOps, etc.
Great skill in test script using Groovy or any other programming languages.
Solid analytical problem-solving skills with deep knowledge in Agile SDLC process management methodologies
Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins
Understanding of core business logic, algorithms, and datasets, with the ability to perform low-level System and Data Analysis
