Job Description
  • Responds to a variety of inquiries related to information systems and information technology operation
  • Resolves user problems as required.
  • Assures that business applications are available to users.
  • Troubleshoots when users encounter problems with business applications.
  • Takes corrective action as necessary to include analyzing problems.
  • Properly escalates unresolved issues to appropriate internal teams (e.g. software developers) and coordinates repairs with vendors as required.
  • Serves as trainer for information systems deployment.
  • Administers the automated systems procedures and provides support to users when needed to resolve systems access problems.
  • Maintains logs or other mechanisms to track and manage requests from end users.
  • Ensures that problems are corrected with minimal downtime for the user.
  • Prepares detailed statistical reports, records, and documents.
  • Documents technical knowledge in the form of notes and manuals.
  • Maintains jovial relationships with users.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems
  • Min. 2-5 years of experience working in IT projects, operations and technical support as information systems developer and system analyst
  • Additional certification in ERP products or other technologies is a plus
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Hands-on experience with one of ERP products
  • Hands-on experience with programming languages
  • Hands-on experience with windows/linux/mac OS
  • Hands-on experience with databases
  • Proven work experience as a Technical Support Engineer, IT Help Desk Technician or similar role
  • Knowledge of Business Intelligence
