We service education institution as well as our channel partners across Indonesia. The role: The Channel Manager is critical to driving sales and achieving sales targets for the Pearson English language learning (ELL) products and solutions in Indonesia and Malaysia through the development and management of local channel partners and distributors.
What you will do:
Develop and manage relationships with channel partners and distributors to achieve the sales target and identify new opportunities.
Deliver presentation and/or provide information of ELL products/solutions to key accounts, government officials and channel partners/distributors.
Accurately forecast, manage the sales planning and build pipeline with channel partners and distributors to achieve the assigned sales target through monthly and quarterly forecast review and tracking.
Liaise with other internal departments to manage sales and marketing activities for the year to support sales and account expansion with focus and increase the market share in the identified area.
Record customer- and market-related data and activities in the CRM system on a regular and timely basis.
Make regular visits to key partners/distributors and potential customers to build or maintain the customer relationship and explore sales opportunities including but not limited to the following:
To be successful in this role, you'll ideally have:
B.A. graduate degree (highly regarded)
3-4 years of relevant experience, preferably in education or academic publishing
Good command of both Indonesian and English
Familiarity with education technology is an advantage
Proficiency in the use of CRM tools such as Salesforce to make data driven analysis and informed decision
