Job Description

GroupM Nexus Responsibilities:
The GroupM Nexus team adopts a collaborative and customer-centric
approach in delivering high value and innovative solutions for our Agencies’
and Agencies’ clients, including the activation and execution of dynamic
media campaigns.

The Campaign Delivery team creates an effective link between the client
facing Agency teams and the GroupM Nexus. The Campaign Delivery
team ensures that comprehensive briefs are received from the Agency teams
and ensures that GroupM Nexus specialists meet clients’ expectations by
achieving campaign KPI’s timely and through embedding operational
excellence. They are also supporting the delivery of tasks such as reporting
output, offer insights and recommendations across strategic planning and
agency pitches.

Following are the responsibilities of the GroupM Nexus Campaign Delivery
team and the varying degree of complexity is subject to individual job level:
  • Assist the GroupM Nexus team to understand Agency
deliverables and campaign KPI’s
  • Well versed in understanding media behaviors and how the target
audience interact with specific channel delivery and ensure
common understanding across GroupM Nexus
  • Maintain quality control and assurance practices across the
assigned cluster of clients and proactively advise Agencies on
campaign improvements
  • Proactively address, and escalate when needed, any issue that
compromises the quality and timeliness of deliverables
  • Work collaboratively with all stakeholders to ensure shared
accountability to deliver value to clients
  • Work collaboratively with all specialists within the GroupM Nexus
to ensure a holistic approach to campaign execution and delivery
  • Conduct quality control and assurance of your own workstream
before handing it over to another team
  • Ensure understanding and 100% compliance with both GroupM and
finance processes, policies and procedures
  • Continuously expand and share knowledge and understanding of
new trends, media channels and technologies

Individual Responsibilities:

  • Provide best in class knowledge of non-biddable media to GroupM
agency stakeholders and the GroupM Nexus team
  • Support the Associate Director/Director Campaign Delivery team in
meeting strategy, planning, execution and reporting requirements
  • Support the Associate Director/Director Campaign Development
Team to work with GroupM agency teams to manage client budgets
and deliver on annual media KPIs
  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve and enhance clients’
campaigns and advise Agency teams accordingly
  • Support the Associate Director/Director of the Campaign
Development team to review output from the GroupM Nexus
before delivering to the client team to ensure a best in class
response
  • Assist GroupM Agencies in consolidating data for ad hoc reports
(eg CSI/Savings Report/Cost Avoidance)
  • Deliver holistic cross channel campaign analysis (ie mid and post
campaign), working with respective buying teams to provide
actionable insights and optimization recommendations
  • Be robust and confident to be able to work under time pressure
  • Be able to adjust priorities to meet changing client needs
  • Establish solid relationships and nurture collaboration with the
GroupM agencies and the GroupM Nexus teams
  • Any other project or tasks as assigned from time to time

Mandatory Qualifications and Technical Skills:

  • At least 5 years of media planning and buying experience
  • Extensive knowledge in traditional media and non-biddable digital
media
  • Proven and extensive experience in campaign execution
  • Project management and ability to handle multiple stakeholder
levels
  • Able to effectively develop and motivate people to achieve joint
goals
  • Meticulous attention to detail and effective communication skills
  • Able to efficiently prioritize and delegate tasks in a fast-changing
environment

Desired Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Excellent knowledge of negotiations and inflation management
  • Analytical personality with a talent for innovative thinking and
problem-solving
  • Numerically inclined, ability to interpret data and statistical
information
  • Ability to influence without authority
  • Leadership skills demonstrated by self-confidence, good
judgement, sound decision-making, empathic listening,
flexibility, self-motivation and ability to challenge the status quo.
  • Team player demonstrated as the ability to receive and provide
