ROLE OVERVIEW

This role supports the country leadership in ensuring that we maintain highest standards of compliance to internal policies, regulatory requirements and reporting, operational and enterprise risk management related framework maintenance, etc.

Some specifics:

  • Responsible for ensuring compliance with regular reporting to be done to regulator;
  • Handle all internal and external audit related requirements in the country
Implement and execute ongoing operational issue identification, root cause analysis and assessment procedures, as assigned
  • Partner with key Corporate Functions (i.e. ERM, Risk Liaisons, Internal Audit, Information Security, Compliance, SOX, etc.) to ensure appropriate issues are identified, mitigated, communicated, and reported
  • Take ownership of ensuring understanding and compliance to Mastercard’s policies associated with Anti-Bribery and Anti-Corruption, Gifts and Hospitality, Travel & Entertainment, etc; Do regular testing and monitoring.
  • Assist in day-to-day operational activities in the local office and interact with cross-fucntional departments like Operations, Finance, Tax, Billing, etc in resolving and improving operational effectiveness
  • Manage other support staff at office

ALL ABOUT YOU

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Motivated self-starter, ability to work independently, able to identify and direct activities to achieve objectives
  • Ability to manage and grow internal and external cross functional relationships and partnerships
  • Demonstrated track record of planning, managing, delivering projects
  • Committed to continuous learning, and enjoys keeping up with trends in a constantly evolving industry
  • Experience with Risk management and investigation, consulting and strategic judgement, and business process assessment
  • Excellent communication (written, oral and presentation) and interpersonal skills
  • Detail oriented, proactive and able to work and multi-task with minimal supervision in a fast-paced and unpredictable environment
  • Excellent time management, planning and organizational skills, and the ability to adapt quickly to change
  • Must have excellent PC skills, including Microsoft Office suite
