Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group Indonesia is recruiting on behalf of a leading multinational company with a core focus on manufacturing building material. As expansion continues, our client is seeking a supply chain professional with at least 20 years' experience with a multinational company for the job of Head of Supply Chain. The job is based in Bogor, Indonesia.

Key job responsibilities include:

  • Directly reports to CEO
  • Oversee and manage every stage of the production flow, from purchasing, the raw materials to the delivery of the final product
  • Organizing the movement of goods from distribution centers to customers and stores involves forecasting trends and managing inventories
  • Create Supply Chain Management strategies that increase efficiency and speed for business units
  • Provide operational support and guidance to ensure maximum productivity for business units
  • Analyze data from shipping and delivering processes to find bottlenecks and others related issues, then propose the implement solutions to management
  • Collaborate with other departments to create coordinated plans for business growth
  • Develop and implement safety guidelines in all aspects of the supply chain (e.g use trucks, forklifts)
  • Ensure supply chain processes meet legal requirements and standards
  • Communicate, negotiate, build, and maintain good relationship with suppliers and vendors to land more profitable deals
  • Analyze supply chain data and performance, maintain the inventory, and provides constructive feedback to support the company growth
  • Work with finance, sales, marketing, and external manufacturing team to determine the best vendors and distributors

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum Bachelor Degree in Industrial Engineering or other Engineering background from reputable university
  • Having minimum 10 years' experience in Supply Chain Management function or Production Planning Inventory Control or Warehouse/Logistic with minimum 5 years' experience as Supply Chain Manager in manufacturing industries
  • Knowledgeable in Supply Chain Management and Warehouse Management System & Production Planning Tools
  • Certified in Lean Manufacturing, lean Six Sigma or Green Belt would be an added value
  • Hands on experience with supply chain management software such as SAP MM, AP Modules, SAP Plant Maintenance, etc
  • Familiar to manage high number of SKUs
  • Fluent in English and Computer literacy
  • Should be Mature and Communicative, Independent, Fast learner, Strong Interpersonal and Leadership approach toward colleagues and subordinates
  • Having good analytical thinking and problem solving
  • Willing to be located in Bogor
