Develop and supervise implementation of sales plans, activities, and programs, and manage the day-to-day activities of the area sales team in order to implement the organization's overall sales strategy for the assigned area.
Negotiate and execute sales deal with distributors and key retailers.
Prepare rolling sales forecasts and budgets; monitor sales volume, revenues, costs and collections against forecasts to identify problem areas; and adapt procedures or re-allocate resources to improve the overall results.
Propose and assess new dealers together with Controller or Finance Business Partner; select and assign Territory Manager (TM) & District Sales Representative (DSR) in line with thebudgeted resources.
Contribute to the development of sales, marketing, customer retention, advertising, pricing, and distribution strategies for the assigned area.
Report sales activities, including sales leads, customer feedback, and information on competitor activities (i.e. price, stock, promotion and distribution) to Business Unit Head and other head of departments so that they can respond to changing market conditions and customer demands.
Lead, direct, evaluate, anddevelop the area sales team to ensure that the sales strategy and activities are implemented effectively and within established budgets, and comply with all relevant regulations, laws and industry standards; coach & develop senior TM and TM in the organization, on marketing campaigns and sales promotions, and on sales techniques, procedures and standards that will help them achieve their sales targets.
WHO YOU ARE
Education: University degree in agriculture with major agronomy or plant protection
Experiences: at least 3 years of relevant experience as Regional Sales Manager
Good understanding of agriculture practices and open market business process
Result-oriented with good analytical thinking, self-reliant with strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
