    MISSION

    In one or two sentences, outline the primary purpose(s) of this position within the organization


    • Performing procurement based on customer volume at economic order quantity, at best cost and at right time.
    • Ensuring quantitative customer requirements delivered on time.
    • Manages the supply base to answer proactively to the plant needs taking all criteria of performance into account.
    • Responsible for the RFQ process and recommend the business awards in front of the sourcing committee in observation of the deontology rules and in the respect of the objectives set in terms of quality, cost and delivery.
    • In charge of the “order to pay” process: manage the process respecting the spend authorization rules. Track the conditions of application of the contracts up to the final payment of the supplier
    • Manages if any the crisis with the suppliers.


    Responsibilities & Activities

    Responsibility 1 : Operations

    • Direct the activities of all functions involved in the forecasting, planning, purchasing, warehousing, delivery, inventory control and delivery finished goods to customer(s).
    • Responsible of Indirect purchase and respect the purchasing process
    • Responsible to manage and maximize FTA, Customs
    • Handle all shipment customs clearance,
    • Coordinating with shipping and freight forwarders regarding pricing and customs process
    • Organizes outbound logistics and coordinates inbound logistics in order to achieve service quality at the lowest cost and in safe condition.
    • Release local and overseas suppliers MRP (material requirement plan) based on master production schedule and company activities
    • Manage inventory and establishes controls to ensure CES is operating at the highest level of performance based on key performance metrics and minimized supply chain risk.
    • Analyze inventories to determine how to increase inventory turns, reduce waste, or optimize customer service.
    • Lead cycle count, wall to wall yearly counting and root cause analysis
    • Must personally comply with CES Code of Conduct and all work rules, policies and procedures; and hold others accountable to the same standard
    • Must comply with all safety rules and regulations, promote safety awareness, and hold others accountable to the same safety standards
    • Ensure that quality and environmental systems are operating according to required standards including, but not limited to: IATF16949, ISO14001, etc.
    • Establish facility and departmental budgets, objectives, and measurement systems (indicators) which align with the regional and global goals such as: productivity, efficiency, safety, quality and profitability
    • Other duties as assigned by superiors
    • Manages the supply base relationships according to PO purchasing policy. Solve the issues with the suppliers
    • Leads the negotiation with the suppliers: Ensures a fair competition between suppliers. Makes sure 3 competitors at least compete to provide best technical solution and lowest landed cost.
    • Manages the Purchasing requests flow and launch the RFQ process for the plant.
    • Prepares the sourcing recommendations and present them in sourcing.
    • Manages the order to pay process, tracking the supplier activities to be managed up to full achievement and payment of the supplier

    Responsibility 2 (Safety and compliance)

    • Maintain or minimize OHS Hazard/Risk and Environmental impact from any activities perform in the premise
    • Report when abnormal case on OHS Hazard and Environmental issue found.
    • Give suggestion for OHS Hazard and Environmental improvement.
    • Participate in the programs / activities concerning OHS Hazard and Environment improvement

    Responsibility 3 (Customer Representatives)

    Overview of supervision and accountability in selection of special characteristics and corrective/ preventive actions.


    PROFILE REQUIREMENTS



    Personal Background

    • Bachelor degree in related field
    • Minimum 2-3 years direct experience of Purchasing in automotive manufacturing
    • Relevant experience successfully major SAP projects (MRP, production planning…) related to supply chain activities is a plus
    • Good communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with different stakeholders (external and internal).
    • Fluent in English.

    Job Technical skills

    • Ability to build a performing SC team organization, structure, roles & responsibilities, processes, procedures and work instruction
    • Understanding of Purchasing, Supply chain, Logistics and Warehouse management’s strategy in automotive manufacturing
    • Toyota Production System, JIT, Kanban, Traceability, HOSHIN, …
    • Skills in SAP (at least one of following modules MM,PP,SD,WM) are a plus

    • Capable of quickly establishing credibility with all colleagues in the organization
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills
    • Position related training will be provided on an on-going and as needed basis
