The Opportunity

Manulife Indonesia IT Business Analyst is responsible in finding innovative way to improve the existing process using functional decomposition to create a well-organized, value driven framework that helps product owner to align the product backlog with the required business value.

On the job you will:
1. Assist Product Owner in finding innovative ways to improve an existing process to make it more
efficient or more effective
2. Using functional decomposition to create a well-organized, value-driven framework that helps
Product Owner
to align the Product Backlog with the required business value so it would be easier to understand
the relationship of the stories and epics to each other and for satisfying overall business goals.
3. A Business Analyst needs to provide value by writing user stories that are very clear and concise
and easy-to understand and implement by the development team.
4. Business Analyst will work with the Product Owner and their development team members to refine
Backlog items to get them ready for the development team to start.
5. Identifying related User Stories and Epics to have better planning and coordination when
implementing stories across different functional areas and identifying any inconsistencies and/or
missing functionality.
6. Integrate and analyze the needs of other related projects and from different stakeholders to
produce an overall solution.
7. Responsible to assist the user to build a good quality testing strategy to achieve business goals
8. Execute testing which includes unit testing, integration testing, and regression testing
9. Learning some essential technical things, to support developers, if needed
10. Involve and participate in sprint planning, daily stand-up, refinement, sprint review, and
retrospective.
11. Educate project/squad team members on business unit goals and objectives and educate the
business on the value of information technology
