PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES: (Include but not limited to:)

  • Effectively administer and openly support all Company policies, procedures and guidelines
  • Deliver the required targets for the site, that can include but are not limited to financial performance targets across sales, marketing and field marketing, staffing targets, customer experience targets and compliance and OHS targets
  • Represent the Company in an ethical, moral and professional manner at all times
  • Provide appropriate training, education and performance monitoring for sales, marketing and field marketing team
  • Continually support and motivate staff to achieve performance goals and customer service goals
  • Manage the performance of sales, marketing and field marketing staff and take compliant corrective action where required
  • Ensure that the sales & marketing team managers participate in regular, productive meetings
  • Ensure that the sales & marketing team conduct regular performance management and take compliant corrective action where required
  • Ensure that the sales & marketing team participate in regular, productive meetings
  • Acknowledge the achievements of team members throughout the marketing operation onsite
  • Lead by example in both professional and personal conduct
  • Be up to date with and ensure the local operation conforms to local and where applicable international industry and Company best practices
  • Work proactively to support all Company programs and ensure staff are educated on sales & marketing strategies and site generated lead targets are met
  • Actively participate in training sessions and meetings and provide visible on-site support to the marketing team
  • Ensure the sales & marketing management team provides a positive interface with all on-site and corporate departments

KEY POSITION CRITERIA:

  • Previous experience leading a sales team and vacation ownership is advantageous
  • Fluent in both written and verbal English
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to build relationships with key stakeholders across all levels of the business
  • Demonstrated empathy and the ability to build upon other people’s ideas
  • Proven ability to implement alternative methods to achieve goals in the face of obstacles
  • Ability to meet tight reporting deadlines without compromising quality
  • Proven leadership, motivating, coaching and performance management skills
  • Ability to plan for line requirements and attract, recruit and retain quality marketing staff
  • High level application and focus to drive marketing results using proven techniques such as building rapport, needs/values selling, negotiating, and closing the r deal)
  • Strong personal values regarding customer service, delivering on the promise and integrity
  • A solutions focus and problem solving ability
  • Ability to conduct effective meetings
  • Positive and enthusiastic attitude and ability to inspire same in others
