As a Human Resources Representative at the Batam, you will assist in the administration of various human resource services and functions for all payrolls within Batam facility, supporting approximately 1.300 employees. Position would develop and recommend solutions to personnel related problems. Collaborating with employees and leaders within the organization to resolve issues. Resolve issues by following departmental guidelines or applying approved solutions.
As the Human Resources Representative, you will:
Interact with and counsel all levels of management, salaried & hourly employees, to assist and resolve a wide variety of personnel, wage/salary and benefit related issues.
Assist in the administration and support of employee issues and problems in some or all the following areas: Performance Management Process, Relocations / International Service Employee Issues, Labor Relations issues, communication of human resources related material, Employee Opinion Survey analysis and communication, Annual Succession Planning process, administration of payroll, salary administration, time and attendance and Workday (Human Capital Management) related activities.
Performance of duties associated with Governmental regulations and internal investigations.
Responsible for the administration of employee service management: catering service, transportation, company events, inhouse clinic, etc.
Permits & license management within Caterpillar Batam.
Track and report on metrics and measurements for human resources functions and provide data to management.
Provide direction and guidance to all levels of employees on HR policies and procedures, ensuring consistency. Actively participate as a functional resource on business team ensuring human resources is an integral part of the business strategy. Keep employees, managers, general managers and leadership members advised on changes.
The successful candidate must bring:
Basic proficiency in English is required.
Knowledge of various areas of human resources including benefits, employment, employee/labor relation and company policies and procedures.
College or university degree or equivalent experience.
2+ years of human resources job-related experience in HR.
Established human relations and effective communications skills are required to develop a cooperative work relationship with others inside and outside of department.
The ability to maintain confidentiality is essential.
