Project Title : Grant Submission and IDM Consumption Trend Analysis
Description :
Grant Submission :
  • Grant are a scheme from Government of Malaysia to train more Malaysian in Technical Field and also encouraging R&D activities from companies
  • Candidate must come on board and partner with the Finance Analyst to complete the grant claim submission and recommend improvements to the process
IDM/consumables Consumption Trend analysis :
  • Indirect Materials/consumables is one of the variable spending areas.
  • Candidate is required to put together consumption trend, compare with other site's spending and analyze it to recommend areas of opportunities.
Scope:
The grant submission is for SSD/MOD for year 2021. This project requires understanding of tax ruling and guideline to complete in the Project Paper. The IDM/Consumables consumption trend covers SSD/MOD, if time permits will extend to Component Assembly and Test.

Deliverables:
Grant Submission
  • Collate all relevant documentation to support the grant claim submission.
  • Identify process improvements to the submission process
IDM/consumables Consumption Trend analysis :
  • Compile historical actual trend for SSD/MOD, analyze the trend against other sites and provide recommendations for consumption efficiency
  • Stretch goal : Include Components Assembly and Test in the IDM/consumables consumption trend analysis
