Summary:
Start date: Candidate must be able to begin working within a reasonable period of time (+ 4 weeks) of receipt of agency authorization and/or clearances/certifications or their candidacy may end.
As the assistant to the Supply Supervisor of the Property Supply, Accounting, and Warehousing (PAW) Team, the incumbent manages personnel and overall operations at the Hang Jebat ICASS-FAP Warehouse, Jakarta. These service functions are not limited to residential appliances, office space management, and special events setup. The incumbent works independently to maintain property accountability and to ensure that proper receipt, storage, access control, transfer, disposal of property and safety guidelines are met. S/He provides overall supervision and supervises 14 employees and may work as the backup Supply Supervisor, as necessary.
EXPERIENCE: A minimum of three years of progressively responsible experience in managing a warehouse and or the supply department of an Embassy, government agency, major international company or equivalent local government entity involved in the storage and supply of household or office furniture, equipment and or appliances is required. This experience must include a minimum of two years in a supervisory capacity.
Education Requirements:Completion of two years of college or university studies.
LANGUAGE (this maybe tested): Level III (Good Working Knowledge) Speaking/Reading/Writing in English and Bahasa Indonesia are required.
