The Role:
This role is required to Initiate and lead multi-disciplinary change projects and/or industrialization projects at business level. Mechanical Equipment engineering to support high precision automation
The Responsibility:
Senior/Principle mechanical/mechatronics Equipment engineer provides first line engineering support to ensure production.
Candidates required to be master in 3D design with Solidworks, UG software.
Initiate production escalation, executes problem solving related to Manufacturing processes, tools and equipment.
Prepares, plans and executes Capex projects for repeat equipment.
Obtains and installs repeat equipment to site.
Implements LCM design changes in their site.
Accountable for integrity of Masterdata, master data management and digital SC Maturity.
Identifies and executes improvements in manufacturing processes, tools and equipment.
Applies lean manufacturing principles
Developing, supports robust equipment & maintenance plans and applies new technologies in factories
Employs equipment, practices and procedures which promote a healthy, safe and secure work environment.
Skills & Experience required:
Bachelor degree in mechanical engineering.
Good knowledge of Data Analytic to support Industry 4.0 model factory in the area of data analytic (IIoT) will be added advantage.
Candidate required to have good knowledge of lean manufacturing principles, MRP/SAP and manufacturing fundamentals.
Executes the processes and standards with embedded quality into the way of working including adherence to compliance with safety, cost regulatory and environmental requirements as well as local laws, Philips General Business principles and other policies.
The Engineer is expected to possess strong leadership and communication skills to lead a team of assistant engineers for investigating the root cause of equipment failures, problem solving techniques and process improvement.
