Job Description

An exciting Key Account Manager job has become available at a multinational crane rental company.

About the Key Account Manager Role:
The Key Account Manager will handle and manage key accounts (e.g. EPC construction companies). You will drive new business opportunities in various construction industries to deploy solutions to end customers and contractors, for cranes and heavy-lifting tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sell the services of the company to new and existing customers according to the set targets in the sales plan
  • Produce and communicate actionable business plans (including measurable targets) in order to implement the defined strategy
  • Effectively represent the company, build new and maintain existing relationships with customers and other stakeholders, focusing on expanding the company's customer base
  • Achieve sales and business development objectives as set out in the annual commercial plan for self and/or sales team
  • Give input for the composition of the annual commercial plan
  • Proactively and effectively find, approach and develop new markets/customers
  • Process applications and preparation of calculations and offers in response to incoming requests or providing adequate input to other sales members to accomplish these tasks
  • Draft framework agreements for clients in accordance with the established sales guidelines
  • Make special efforts to fill gaps in equipment planning

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or Engineering, or equivalent job related experience is preferred
  • Five or more years of experience in selling consulting services or construction solutions to various EPCs
  • Sales experience in cranes or heavy lifting equipment is preferred
  • Strong network in construction and EPC is preferred
  • Strong interpersonal, relationship building and communication skills
  • Experience in handling Accounts in one or more countries in SEA
  • Very organised, proactive, and self-directed with the ability to perform with minimal supervision
  • Must have very strong abstract thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to handle aggressive targets and pressure
  • Readiness to travel on a regular basis around Southeast Asia
  • Highly proficient in English and spoken native Bahasa Indonesia
