About the Role
If you’re looking to be a part of a dynamic, highly analytical team and an opportunity to dive deep into projects surrounding the Merchant Community, look no further. As our Merchant Community for Merchant Development team, you’ll be involved in end-to-end scalable education activities for Moka & GoStore Merchants in the community. Along with content development, you will be in charge of mass communication execution and reporting of our weekly community engagement activity and communications, including updating the community membership database. You will work closely with the Offline Marketing team to create online community engagement activities which aim to retain the merchants in the Gojek ecosystem. The cherry on top, you’ll get to be a part of a team that works to retain thousands of our existing Merchants.
What You Will Do
Be responsible to monitor the community groups communication and engagement on a daily basis
Assist in online community activity planning and execution such as webinar
Liaise with Communication, Marketing, and other teams for any information to communicate with merchants in Community
Update the Community membership data
Plan and create educational content for the merchant community
What You Will Need
Fresh graduate or final year student from any major, preferably from Communication or Business & Management
Comfortable meeting new people and mingle with them
Have an interest or joining in any online community is a plus
Basic knowledge of Ms. Excel/ Google Sheet and Ms. Powerpoint/ Google Slide
Up to date with recent business trends
Available to work full-time for 6 months contract (We are currently working from home (WFH) until the end of the year)

Our Merchant Development team currently consists of eight people that are responsible for handling communications and community that aims to educate Merchants. As Rendang is to the people of Indonesia, we are to Gojek & Moka, providing the nourishment to sustain our business from the inside out. Our main responsibility is to educate and retain our Merchants, so they understand and can utilize our features and product to grow their business. How does one achieve this, you may ask? By creating and implementing scalable community initiatives with segmented education for our Merchants. For instance, create and deliver some business insight into Community and campaigns to our Merchants to help them grow their business. What drives us is our shared sense of nurture and help Merchants to grow, using the best scalable and digital channels, especially during pandemics.
As a team, we’re concerned with the growth of the company, and each other’s personal growth and well-being, too. We enjoy bonding over our shared love of Food, Series, and Books.
