Get to know the role We are looking for a Strategy & Planning Associate to drive project execution, insight enablement and strategy formulation for GrabFood to grow in Yogyakarta. You will dive deep to understand the merchant, driver partners and consumer sides of the business and provide recommendations to improve key metrics of the organization. We believe a successful candidate has an upper hand in data analytics skills, experience in a business facing role and able to translate data into actionable insights,, but if you believe you have what it takes then we’d love to hear from you either way. This role is required because we are looking for a go-to person who can tie data with implementation on ground. In return, you will get an opportunity to work with and mentored by our brilliant people at GrabFood, as well as unlocking a steep learning curve into the food delivery business in Yogyakarta. The Day-to-Day Activities
  • You will create insight enablement through dashboard creation, automation and research analysis to support decision making process
  • You will drive project management, ensuring that project strategy & implementation are successfully translated on ground
  • You will be responsible to manage Service Excellence and Reliability in Yogyakarta, through weekly deepdive to provide recommendations on things to improve
  • You will deep dive into sub-cities in Yogyakarta to understand localised insight and consumer pattern, to formulate strategy for growth throughout the region
  • You will partner closely with all business stakeholders within GrabFood, operations, transport, marketing and other cross-functions to set and implement strategy

The Must-Haves
  • You have Heart, Hunger, Honour and Humility
  • You have Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field
  • You have at least 1 year of experience working in working in Management Consulting / Business Intelligence / Market Research / investment banking / e-commerce / startup
  • You have advanced skill in SQL, Python, and Power BI dashboard creation
  • You are experienced in business analysis and forecasting analysis
  • You are knowledgeable with utilising various metrics to analyse complex cases, as well as experience in data extraction and manipulation
  • You showcase advanced written and spoken English

  • You have high level of adaptability in working in a high pressure working environment
  • You are dependable and reliable with timely follow-up
  • You are results and detail-oriented, with strong intuitions on how to solve problems creatively and quickly
